OK, so maybe some of the meals we help prepare for those we serve don't look this nice, but they are still well-received.

Here are some of the ways we are using our gifts and resources to respond in God's love to the spiritual, social, and human needs of our parish, our community, and the world.

We believe that it is our mission to feed the hungry, to heal the sick, to visit the lonely, to comfort the afflicted, to shelter the vulnerable, and in these and other ways, to love our fellow human beings as ourselves and serve those in need as Christ. Regularly occuring outreach is listed here, and additional items may appear on the Christ Church Facebook page. If you are interested in joining or helping with the work of the Outreach Committee they meet on the first Sunday of each month after Coffee Hour.

Women's Shelter

Christ Church collects items for the Women's Shelter the first Sunday of every month. Paper goods, diapers, toiletries and similar items are not provided by the shelter. Do not bring food. Place your donations in the basket at the back of the nave.

Mile of Pennies

Christ Church participates in the Mile of Pennies program which provides books for disadvantaged children through the Church Periodical Club. One of our members is a past president of the organization. To see what the donations supported in 2008, click here.
